Are you super last minute (similar to this blog post) and looking for a classic Halloween costume that won’t break the bank? This Holly Golightly costume is super easy to create; as an added bonus, you may already have some of the supplies in your closet already!
Some years I struggle a bit to come up with a fun, unique Halloween costume that I love, but this year that wasn't the case! I've been making pop culture themed costumes for the last few years and I wanted to continue the trend this year. My friend Amanda and I instantly knew we wanted to be Handmaids for Halloween after the first season of The Handmaid's Tale wrapped. We quickly got to work drafting our ideas.
In the midst of planning an autumn trip to Disney this year, watermelons were still a major trend for me. During our trip down to Disney, we planned on going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Naturally we were in desperate need of a group costume that wasn't too expensive and was also DIY friendly to a handful of skill levels.
